Abstract :This thesis describes new techniques for designing clinical trials that are applied more and more frequently as part of the new method of curing cancer, which is called immunotherapy. Such designs are used very often nowadays in the field of medicine and statistics, because they result in shorter clinical trials with lower cost. Moreover, these novel designs object to expedite the drug development process, in order for patients to receive the most appropriate therapies.This thesis explains the clinical trials generally and, in addition, the clinical trials that are used to identify promising immunotherapies. Finally, an analysis of the new methods for designing a clinical trial and their advantages are discussed.
